Elalite!

ATTACHMENT B WorldCom Comments in Response to Order No. 4 UT-003020 From: Kast, Steven [Steven.Kast@qwest.com] Sent: Thursday, November 20, 2003 2:16 PM To: chad.warner@MCI.COM; Steven Kast Cc: Buhler, Dean Subject: RE: Qwest's Informal Reply Comments Chad, Line splitting and line sharing were reported as a separate product categories in September 2003, reflecting August results. In service line counts were separated between line sharing and line splitting in the September results reported in October . Up until this point in time, line splitting lines would have been grouped with line sharing and reported as such. Qwest has subsequently discovered that in line splitting situations, where MCImetro is the underlying carrier and Rhythms is the data provider, it had incorrectly identified the underlying carrier as Rhythms. This is being addressed and Qwest anticipates a correction with November results due in December. Additionally, Qwest has discovered a small number of records identified in the September performance report as line sharing and incorrectly belonging to MCImetro. This can happen when the order is written without the proper FIDs that indicate line splitting. In this event, the record was bucketed as line sharing instead of line splittling. These records will be corrected with the December results due in January. Please let me know if you have any questions Steve Kast 303 382-2673 -----Original Message----- From: Chad Warner [mailto:chad.warner@MCI.COM] Sent: Friday, November 07, 2003 2:21 PM To: Steven Kast Subject: FW: Qwest's Informal Reply Comments Steve, As discussed, I am confused on the performance reporting that we are getting. Per the attached comments you will see that Qwest has stated "Qwest had identified a problem which was being corrected and that line splitting would be reported as a separate product category in the CLEC specific performance results reports for September 2003, and would also reflect August 2003 historical results, if any. The problem has been corrected. CLEC specific performance results reports for September performance reflect line splitting as a separate product category from line sharing for PIDs OP-3, OP-4, OP-5, OP-6, MR-3, MR-6, MR-7 and MR-8, as well as reflect August historical data and the issue should be considered closed". |

I.ROOT-SERVERS.NET > QWEST ? 😆 |
DNS root nameserver i.root-servers.net Netnod and Autonomica are proud to operate one of 13 root DNS servers as a public service to the Internet. i.root-servers.net was the first root DNS server outside USA when it was brought into service (now there are root DNS servers operating from Amsterdam and Tokyo as well). It has changed configurations a number of times during the years from its humble beginnings as a Sun 3/60 with 4MB RAM. To improved the robustness and availability of this service, Netnod and Autonomica are actively deploying copies (known as "instances") of i.root-servers.net in locations all over the world. Therefore "I" is no longer available only from the (main) site in Stockholm, Sweden, but also from several other sites, including: - NETNOD-IX Stockholm, Sweden - NETNOD-IX Lulea, Sweden - FICIX Helsinki, Finland - LINX London, Great Britain - PAIX PaloAlto, USA - MIX Milano, Italy - CERN/CIXP Geneva, Switzerland - NIX Oslo, Norway - WIDE Tokyo, Japan - MCI Amstedam, Holland - HKIXP Honkong, China - CAT Bangkok, Thailand - QWEST Washington, USA - DECIX Frankfurt, Germany - BENIX Bryssels, Belgium - RONIX Bukarest, Rumenia - ULAKBIM Ankara, Turkey - Starlight Chigago, USA - Jakarta, Indonesia - Kuala Lumpor, Malysia - Bejing, Kina - Mumbai, India - Kathmandu, Nepal EDIT: By the way... |
